Designers normally opt for NVMe M.2 drive that can work 16 high-speed connections. Due to this, makers wanted to make use of 12 PCH lanes for the second and third M.2 interface. That also comes with a PCIe x4 slot.
However, the 4 lanes of the SATA were left unused, leaving designers to come up with Plan B. This is when the lane sharing enables the board to disable one of the interfaces so that the other can operate sublimely.

We could see a decent speed of overclocking of 4.16 GHz at 1.32V. If you push it more, then the board would break down. The overclocking was good, not outstanding, though. Thanks to the cooler system, it kept the heating progress on the Aorus Elite in check.
We may recommend you own a fan cooler that works well. It helped keep things less than 90degrees that is ideal. When you want to operate on large chipsets, you might want to ensure that 240mm AIO may not work.
The memory was able to work sublimely to G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4x8GB DDR4. Its speed was good, but not beyond a certain point; otherwise, the memory divider reaches 1:2. As the manufacturer AMD claimed the working to be DDR4 3600, it was managed effortlessly.
All in all, Gigabyte worked quite well and was able to bring the chip to its limit. The overclocking performance of the Asus Rog Strix X570-F unit was outstanding for the price. It did not surprise us because we knew the Asus was infused with stunning capabilities.

In the market, MSI and ASRock are dominating the overclocking speed with their motherboards, and it was pleasant to see that these two boards are doing quite well. However, the Rog Strix X570-F was able to adjust the timing automatically and offer intense stability.
Probably we should have worked it out with a DDR4-3733. But this is what it is. Using this overclocking speed, you can perform any tasks that you wish to effortlessly. We felt that both the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite and the Asus Rog Strix X570-F did quite well.
PRICE
The Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite board costs under $220, making it slightly expensive when compared to other models available in the market. We felt that for the features embedded in it, the quote was reasonable.
The Asus Rog Strix X570-F gaming board is priced less than $350 that is also quite expensive. But if you look at it, it comes with splendid features usually found in top-end motherboards.
We felt that both the boards were aptly priced for the specifications. You cannot wrong with either of them. Gigabyte is known to provide you with reliable products, while the Asus unit is a high-performance board.
